Our CX & Digital Centre of Excellence is a community of digital professionals researching, defining and delivering cutting edge, customer centric user journeys and propositions across insurance and healthcare.
What you’ll be doing:
Research – we believe that user experience design isn’t user experience design without engaging with real users to understand their needs and expectations. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to travel to our offices to understand more about our customer needs and pain points.
Workshops – Empathy workshops, discovery workshops, design review and ideation. Every project has different UX requirements. We believe the key to a successful UX project is to know what to do and when. Our UX team is collaborative by approach, we learn from each other and the wider community - and from our mistakes! Ensuring every design is considered and well thought out.
Prototyping – You’ll use market leading prototyping software to build low and hi-fidelity prototypes which will be used for usability testing and to communicate design requirements to the wider project team.
User testing – The proof is in the pudding! We test everything! You’ll be involved in as many rounds of user testing as necessary until we get it right for our customers.
Industry trends – We’re a passionate bunch that want to stay at the fore-front of the UX industry, so much so that we made it one our objectives. As a team we make the time to see what’s going on within the UX community. We’re generally seen at any decent UX conference keeping an eye on latest developments.
From you, we need experience in the following
Sketching and prototyping, workshop facilitation, A/B testing, collaborative approach to design, Google Analytics and the ability to work with people from different backgrounds and knowledge of UX.

The ideal candidate will have some of the following skills:
- Comfortable sketching, wire framing, prototyping (AXURE)
- Have the ability to perform heuristic reviews of existing build
- Collaborative approach to design
- Passionate about all points of interaction e.g. Desktop, tablet, mobile
- Basic understanding of human computer interactions
- Excellent knowledge of creative process and techniques for user experience
- Have strong communication skills and able to articulate designs to colleagues
- Commercially aware
- Good relationship skills - able to operate effectively at all levels of organisation.
- High level of customer focus and understanding of customer needs
- Strategic thinking and problem solving capability – ability to develop practical solutions with the big picture in mind
- Self-motivated & can-do attitude.
- Evidence of delivering commercially viable business solutions to meet customer needs
